Things YOU Should Know About
Location: Dwemer Ruin of Drucashti
One thing I like to do, and I find helps,
is give REALLY detailed directions. You could either start off at Urshilaku Camp and go Southwest, or listen to my detailed
directions. Start off at Urshilaku Camp, head directly WEST from the Sakiran's Yurt over the little hill to the Daedric Shrine
of Assarnibibi- Tashpi. Don’t go inside, that's not what we are here for. Make your way through to the disconnected
part of the outer shrine; you'll see what I mean once you use your map. Now head just a few steps SOUTHWEST until you
see a little ditch. Once you look to the
front of that ditch you'll find a wooden door to Ibar-Dad. From that door, head directly SOUTH until you see a path in the
road. Follow that path SOUTHEAST until you reach the fork in the road. Look at your local map, you'll see a form of a "T"
From the fork, go SOUTHWEST. You have now reached your new Vampire Base: Drucashti. When I mean detailed, I mean detailed.
Stat Boost and Drains For Vampirism:
+20 points: Strength, Willpower, Speed
+30 points: Mysticism, Illusion, Destruction,
Sneak, Hand-to-Hand, Unarmed
Resist: Normal Weapons
(50%), Common Disease (100%), and Paralysis (100%)
Spells: Vampire Touch (Absorb Health 10-30
points on touch)
Sunlight Damages you 5 points per second
Weakness to Fire 50% (that won't help if
you're a High Elf)
These stats take effect if you become any
Vampire, not just a Quarra
You will not be able to talk to anyone
beside other Vampires, House Telvanni (can they get any stranger?), and the Mages Guild. You will not be able to purchase
any good or service unless it's another Vampire. This means no easy access traveling VIA Mages Guild and Silt Strider, and
no purchasing of any potions. You also will not regain anything from resting such as magicka, health, and fatigue.
To become a Vampire, you must let another
Vampire hit you Hand-to-Hand, or with a WEAPON. Usually, a Vampire will try a spell on you. You must make them use their weapon/hand-to-hand.
Try draining they're magicka or simply letting them run out of magicka by constantly using the spell (recommended for more
high level users). If you have completed the Main Quest, there is a way around your "advantage." Create a spell or item with
"WEAKNESS TO COMMON DISEASE" ON SELF 100-100magnitude for (your choice) seconds. Make sure this spell is in effect while you
are getting beat-up.
enter the Quarra Base and cast mark. Open the steel and iron door and you will find an Orc Cattle. Move straight then turn
right you'll find more cattle and your first Vampire Pelf. Let him attack you "long enough" then use an intervention spell
to get out of there. Find a bed and rest for 3 days. You'll have a creepy dream, get used to it. Use recall and begin your
of a blond maiden. I drew near, and saw she was crying, but her
were red as blood. I touched her tears and tasted them, and they
wonderfully salty, sharp with spice and savor. But the maiden's
face had changed, her skin grey-white, and red tears dripped
from her lips,
and her hair had turned black, and wreathed her head like twining
was afraid, but could not run, I screamed, and then I wake,
cramped and aching."
Your Nightmare As You Awake As A Vampire.
Welcome to the Quarra Clan
You are now part of the Vampire Clan Quarra,
like it, or not. I hope you find your new skills amusing, but don't forget your weaknesses. You should have used recall and
gotten yourself back to the base. Go ahead and explore, but as you see no one likes you as they consider you an abomination.
After meeting your new member, head down to the lower level and talk to the red hair female wearing glass armor named Volrina
This is your clan leader, and yes, she
also considers you an abomination. Since you are fresh blood, nobody will let you use their services, this is your chance
to prove yourself. Talk to Volrina about "USE TO ME." She will ask you to kill a vampire who finds himself worshipped as a
god by the local mortals by the name of Irarak. If you agree and succeed in killing him, you will be able to the clan's services.
If you decline, she will not allow you to stay with the clan, therefore it ends your quest with the Quarra.
For your first mission, you are to travel
to the base where Irarak lies and eliminate him.
-Directions to Irarak:
Get to Ald Velothi, look for a tall outpost. From There head SW until you reach Aidanat Camp. Now head directly WEST
to a Dwemer bridge. From where the 2 bridges meet, head SOUTH down a deep ditch then follow the path RIGHT to the Ginith Ancestral
Tomb. Don't worry; you don't have to keep your guard up here. I've searched around and found nothing good so continue to a
room where 5 mortals and a robe wearing vampire named Irarak resign. Ignore the others and head straight for Irarak. As you
read on, you'll see he is a spoiled vampire who uses mortals to take care of him. Now before you go off swinging, here is
your chance to make some cash. You have a choice of telling him he will die, or letting him live for a price. You could select
letting him live and take the 1000 gold, then killing them all. Taunting won't do here because you will still have to take
on all 6 of the NPC's here. Or, you could select to have him killed and
no 1000 gold for you. Everyone here is
a pushover, nothing you can't handle. I haven't found anything special here on the mortals or Irarak except for the 1000 gold.
Report back to Volrina on your success.
Volrina now needs you to gather some raw
materials so she can make some powerful amulets for the Quarra Clan. They are as followed:
-Five Extravagant Sapphire Amulets
-Two portions of Void Salts
-The heart of a Daedra
-A skull of a man or mer
-Some vampire dust
Report back to Volrina after you have collected
all of the Raw Materials.
Aundae and Berne Vampires
For your next task, Volrina tells you that you may earn other rewards by simply taking out other vampires from other
clans. This may be difficult for some newer players. Basically, go into the clan base, and wipe out the vampires there.
Their main headquarters is the Galom Daeus
observatory in the northern central
part of Molag Amur mountains. Other places
to locate Berne vampires are:
Raviro ancestral tomb west of Molag Mar
The Othrelas ancestral tomb near Balur
Salvu's farm just outside of Vivec
The Andrethi Ancestral Tomb southeast of
Their main headquarters is the Ashmelech
tomb on an island Southwest of Sheogorad. Sheogorad will be all the way in the central northern part of your world map. Other
Aundae lairs are at the Sarethi ancestral tomb northwest of Dagon Fel, the Dulo ancestral tomb south of the Zainab Ashlander
camp. Report back to Volrina after you have eliminated the other clans.
This is the best one yet... You get to "feed" on the clan's Cattle
Choose Your Path
You have 2 choices now, stay a vampire,
or cure yourself of this curse. If you choose to stay a vampire, go find unique artifacts such as Eltonbrand and Spell Breaker.
If you choose to cure yourself, be sure you get those items first, and then let’s head off to Bal Ur, a Daedric Shrine.
To cure yourself, you must speak with Molag
Bal. Bal Ur is located NORTH of Suran. Go inside the Daedric Shrine and look for a door to the inner shrine. You will hear
Molag Bal call you as he knows of your arrival. Speak to him and you will learn of his disobedient daughter. He says he does
not know the cure, but he will find it if you kill his daughter and the Frost Atronach along with her. Place a mark spell and let’s head off to Dubdilla.
Dubdilla is located SOUTH of Vos, so you'll
have to hike it up there. This place is bigger then it looks. Find a Mage that will not attack you. Kill her and find a key
on the table to unlock a door deeper in the cave (or use something to pick it). Look for a Daedric Shrine Door that is accessible
by levitating. Then look for another Daedric Shrine Door, and go in deeper into the cave. From there look for a ledge to levitate
and you will find a Winged
Twilight and a Frost Atronach. I decided
to soul trap them both into separate gems just to keep for myself as an artifact. After eliminating them, use recall. Molag
Bal will now cure you of your curse and thank you for sending his daughter and her Atronach back to where he can punish them.
This now ends your Vampire Quest.
